My fondest memory wearing my Freddies were when I bought my first pair at VLV15. I bought a red pair and wore them out of the vendor area! I ended up wearing them all day, night and into the early morning hours...dancing with friends, strangers, and hearing Si Cranstoun for the first time. Truly a memorable night and ever since buying my first pair, I have been hooked ever since!!

NatalieT, 06 Dec 2012

i would love to have one of your pieces, im just beginning to get into vintage and id love to wear them on a jaunt in london or beyond, visit a gallery and do some photography. i think vintage shaping including the styles that you carry are really flattering for curvier and hip'y gals like myself. I would love something that would fit me like a glove for once

angiplamb, 05 Dec 2012

I wear my Freddies all the time. My favorite memory in my Freddies jeans was taking my very first tap dance class in a bar.

meandevilene, 05 Dec 2012

We had got the horrible news that my husband had cancer and i felt horrible with worry. We had a school event to go to and the thought of going out filled me with dread but i had to go as we were trying to keep everything normal for the children so i put on freddies, did my hair in victory rolls and put my red lipstick on! This is how i delt with bad moments for two years and one of my friends said she could tell when we was having a hard time as i got more vintage ! My husband got the all clear 3 months ago but for every appointment with consultants i always wear my freddies as they are my lucky charm x

amy bellehewe, 05 Dec 2012

My fondest memory was this year when I finally managed to slip into my first pair of freddies, even though they were the largest size !!! :) at last I was able to strut around like a proud peacock......within a month I had to buy another pair as I had lost some more inches, and yet again another pair had to be bought. Wearing my freddies makes me proud and makes me realixe what I've achieved this year...not bad for a rockin 53 year old !!! yay way to go !!! :)

crafty, 05 Dec 2012

I haven't got a pair of Freddie's yet, that's why I need some! I think they'd be good to wear to ride my motorbike on a sunny day to a bikers cafe for mugs of tea and pie and chips ;)

Dorothy May, 05 Dec 2012

My favourite Freddie's memory would have to be when I first got them at Hemsby last October! I wore them all weekend and loved strolling in style & comfort :)

Jaxface, 05 Dec 2012

When I came home my pants, in Spain, or at least in my city, it is impossible to find, when it broke I had bought in berlin try shopping at your online store but you were not in my size model I wanted, when at last you found some and you sent me at home I was very happy

I think my fondest memory is when I wore my New Freddies 1940s pants for the first time. I had wanted them for so long & they didnt disapoint! Utterly glamourous & totally comfy I was a very VERY happy lady that day.

QueenB, 04 Dec 2012

Every time a wear one of my Freddies my boyfriend keeps on telling me how sexy I look in them. <3

Margit, 03 Dec 2012

Every time I wear Freddies, fond memories happen! Thanks for doing what ya'll do and supplying people across the world with clothing that lets them express themselves. - With Love, Amanda in Denver

Amandaejung, 03 Dec 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my dungaree dolls was a very superior mum at my school asking me if I was off to plough fields after school drop off. I replied no, but "I think I can smell silage". She looked less than pleased.

Mrs Sheldrake, 03 Dec 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my Freddie's is most definitely when I climbed the Great Wall in China in them. They were a great companion. :-)

Silbar, 02 Dec 2012

I once was too fat to wear Freddies,
So I went on a diet of Shreddies!
Now I've gone down 5 sizes,
It's like winning ten prizes,
I'm as happy as a boxful of teddies!

Poodle Mel, 02 Dec 2012

My fondest memory has to be the first time I ever got to wear a pair of Freddie's; bopping down the Catealk at the Miss Fortune Fashion Show, Americana 2011! I bought a pair of 40s workpants straight after and I've been totally hooked ever since. I'm never happier than when I'm a Dungaree Doll :D x

Little Gem, 02 Dec 2012

I just recently purchased my first pair of Freddies and have not had a chance to wear them yet but I am so excited to have them and I am sure I will be making many memories with them.

Retro Gran, 02 Dec 2012

I bought a pair of Freddie's with trepidation. Would they look good on my well formed derrière? Would they flatter my less than flat tummy? Well, when discussing pin up shoots with my fella, and voicing my insecurities along the lines of "I'm no Pin Ip model", and hearing the reply " in your Freddie's you are".... Well, that has to be my fondest Freddie's memory.

Sarahgalore, 01 Dec 2012

Every day I wear a freddies pants is a beautiful day. I'm from Spain. I wear my Freddies every day walking in the streets of Oviedo (North of Spain). When I go to the beach in summer I wear a pedal pushers with a cherry's blouse. I wear my Freddies in any rockabilly concert or festival I go. In winter, I never go out without my Freddies because all my shirts and my coats don't seems the same. Definitely, the rest of my clothes needs my freddies pants too much and my life would not be the same without Freddies. So thank you very much, Freddies :)

presu5, 30 Nov 2012

I still get shivers thinking about this year's first real summer day after a long, hard Swedish winter. I went to my parents yard about 70 km from here, to take out my old 58' Opel Rekord from the garage for the first time this year. To my surprise the engine started at once, and I fell in love all over again. After giving it a quick wash I went inside putting on my Classic pedal pushers, who fitted perfectly since I finally had lost 10 kg with a lot of hard work, and put on a shiny red lipstick. I'm not lying when I say I felt like a queen that day!
Im still fighting against a few more until Im satisfied with my new body, and I'd love to get a par of Freddies jeans to go with it!
Thank you for your work and for providing us vintage girls with lovely clothes!

Emelienaessen, 30 Nov 2012

I love your pants. I have several and I wear it every day. Many thanks

rockincruz, 30 Nov 2012

My main memory of Freddies is how they helped regain my confidence after the end of a 4 year relationship. I was heart broken but then discovered Freddies, it was great to be in a pair of jeans that were comfy and made me feel feminine and sexy at the same time. They proved you dont need to be in a short shirt to look good and as long as I had confidence in myself didn't need anyone else. When some girls couldn't live without a little black dress, I cant survive without my Freddies!!

pink-charlie, 30 Nov 2012

I love my Freddies all year round, but have an especially fond memory of my perfect British holiday last year at my Union's holiday camp in Devon. Not much has changed there since the 50s, and I think I looked pretty darn cool playing bowls in my Freddies outside the pastel chalets!

Queenie, 30 Nov 2012

Guess what ? I don't own yet a pair of Freddies, cause I've discovered the label recently... And now, can't stop wishing to get one pair because as a professional tap dancer, I'm always looking for stylish and comfy outfits to tap dance on stage or in studios and those ones seem the perfect jeans ever...

annedel-tonette, 30 Nov 2012

I actually don't have a fond memory as I don't own any pair of jeans. I've heard a lot about them thoe, and would love to make some good memories with a pair :)

Ofinns, 30 Nov 2012

I would have to say when I wore them to fireworks at a park. I paired my Freddies with a stripey shirt and a head scarf. There was hundreds of people there. I got a lot of looks that day/night, could of been good could of been bad, but I fed off it anyways, didn't matter which one it was =P

stoffpuppe, 30 Nov 2012

Have not had the opportunity to wear my new Freddies out as they are put aside for my birthday, however when I tried on the dress, it made me grin. It shows off a very hourglass figure that so many modern clothes unflatter, so thanks for making me feel special, no mean feat!

vintagegal, 30 Nov 2012

Riding a vintage bike through the streets of Paris while on my honeymoon. Wearing my Freddie's utility jeans.

CurvyKitty, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my Freddies was on a spur-of-the-moment visit back to visit my family to join them on a camping trip. I wore my Freddies denim dungarees the whole weekend and they served me well (teamed with a "Rosie the Riveter" style headscarf, naturally)! We arrived to gale force winds, and in attempting to put the tipi up, the wind tore several holes in it....so I engaged my sewing skills and we spent 2 hours doing some rather extreme make do and mend to fix it. During the weekend I also fell down a muddy hill whilst adventuring with my 9 year old sister, made candles on the campfire, chased after a runaway dog and did LOTS of walking. That was one weekend I'll never forget....and my Freddies saw me well through all of it!

My fondest memory when wearing my Freddies was being told by a lady who was probably a teenager back in the 50's that I looked just like I'd stepped out of a time machine set to 1956. My outfit that day was Freddies Jeanies a Freddies top and red corduroy Freddies jacket that has become my favourite jacket ever

bebopkaz, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest Freddie's memory would have to be my HONEYMOON!!! I picked up my Jeanies a few days before we left for our rock and roll honeymoon in Memphis. :) My new husband and I danced up and down Beale Street and toured Graceland- he in a vintage pendleton and engineer boots and myself in cuffed Freddies and a Sun records t-shirt. We felt like a million bucks and received compliments everywhere we went!! Between our mid-century inspired clothing in the essence of rock n roll legends in the air, our weekend in Tennessee truly felt like a step back in time!! Thank you, Freddie's of Pinewood, For being there to share it with us!!

JivinJayePeery, 29 Nov 2012

I have had so many great times in my Freddies, its hard to pick one!
I think the best memory would be when I first got them - I was very nervous highwaisted pants would look odd on a bigger girl.
The feeling of relief and joy that washed over me as I tried them on and saw just how good they looked (and made me feel) was fantastic. Wearing them today still makes me that happy.

Bexthefemme, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of Freddies? The day my first pair arrived in the mail. It fitted like a dream and still does. It's been more than a year now, but I can't live without my Freddies. These are the only jeans (or even pants) that I don't have to alter to fit me. Yes, I love my Freddies andd how they make me look...

Cara13, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of my Freddies was wearing them with red Converse and my 'this is what a feminist looks like' t-shirt to Caitlin Moran's book launch event for Moranthology :-)

lipsticklori, 29 Nov 2012

I wear a pair of Freddies nearly everyday, come rain or shine, summer or winter! I wore them to work as a cocktail waitress in a tiki bar, I wear them to uni, I wear them to dance all night at weekenders.

My fondest memory wearing my Freddies was when I got to wear my dungarees at the first rockabilly event I ran myself, raising £500 for MacMillan Cancer Support :)

RoxieRoulette, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory was when I got to wear my "Ton-Up" jeans to Disneyland. I looked classy but was super comfy. I won't rest until I have a pair of Freddie's for every day of the week! Haha

Cristalina, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory is when I wore my 1940s work pants (ones I was lucky enough to get in one of your sales) to the Rock House 58 All-dayer in Yaxley in August of this year, which I went to with my Dad. Not only was it a fab day out with 5 bands and 2 or 3 DJs playing plenty of good rockin music, my Dad and I won the jive competition, which we'd only entered for the fun of it! It felt so good dancing in my Freddies jeans that I felt on top of the world that day; winning that jive competition in them was something I'll never forget.

V8Ironette, 29 Nov 2012

Best memory - freddies dungarees, fairisle cardigan, flat pumps, victory rolls in hair and a whole day to play at the Goodwood Revival. (not forgetting the gin martinins and spitfires) FAB! FAB! FAB!

rozlyn, 29 Nov 2012

I wore my black Freddies' the last time we travelled to Hawaii, I left the UK wearing a thick snowflake jersey and arrived in Honolulu with a gypsy top, a lei and a flower in my hair. Even after a six hour wait at San Fransisco and nearly 24 hours of travel, my Freddies looked great, felt great and we had a great time together for the rest of the holiday too. Cheers and mahalo x

Alison Bruce, 29 Nov 2012

I have yet to purchase a pair of Freddies (but Christmas is coming and they are for sure on my wish list), but I remember the first day I saw the site, and I got so excited to see that there were cute, vintage-style denim that I wouldn't have to make myself. I'm looking forward to many more memories to come.

7Buttons, 29 Nov 2012

After spending years disliking my clothes and jeans and just buying clothes because I had to wear something , All this changed when just over 2 years ago I brought my first pair of Freddie's jeans at twinwoods
I felt a million dollars as I walked out of the tent in my new jeans. It was a life changing moment, since the. I have worn my Freddie's jeans nearly every day. And just love them

Teampixie, 29 Nov 2012

Hmmm..well, I don't have a memory yet! I just ordered my first Freddie's sweater and hope to have Santa deliver a pair of the jeans for Christmas! <3 love the womanly shape it gives! Finding vintage/retro jeans in Tennessee is hard! :-)

Vintage Frenchie, 29 Nov 2012

I'm awaiting my first pair of Freddie's in the mail but my favorite memory so far is the day I found you: I had put out an SOS on twitter saying poor me who favors old-man dungarees and high-waist 40's style jeans couldn't find a pair of jeans anywhere. An angel replied to me and told me where to find my holy grail of jeans.

BriaLena, 29 Nov 2012

BriaLena, 29 Nov 2012

I will always remember when, at the High Rockabilly festival, I bought my first "black casual" pants, I tried them and came out to show to my boyfriend... wearing them backwards! Phil ran to me really kind and let me know my mistake!
Every time I wear them I remember that and it puts a smile on my face :-)

celiamarco, 29 Nov 2012

the memory is more beautiful when wearing my Freddies I met my current boyfriend, it was night and it was snowing and he told me: "You are my teddy girl!"

nanni85, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory was the day my Black Pleated Pants came in the mail. I pulled them out of the box and the material felt so sturdy and looked great and when I put them on they fit perfectly and I felt AMAZING. Not a feeling I feel often while wearing jeans (probably never). We left for Thanksgiving vacation right after and I strutted around in them the whole weekend! Thank you for making such a lovely, well-made pair of pants.

cateydesantis, 29 Nov 2012

No memory yet, but as soon as my new Freddie's arrive I will have several!! Memories AND Freddie's jeans!! Can't wain to try mine on. Any day now!!
Marjorievp, 29 Nov 2012

Marjorievp, 29 Nov 2012

My Favourite memory of wearing My Freddies was in March 2012 at the VIVA Las Vegas rockabilly weekender in Las Vegas. I was wearing My Dungaree Dolls and met JD MacPherson after his performance I have a photograph with him and Jimmy Sutton what a pair of dreamboats!
I felt like a million Dollars in my Freddies!

Danimoo, 29 Nov 2012

My Dad bought me my first pair of freddies last year at a vintage fair, I was completely skint and had been living off beans for longer than I would care to remember. He bought me a pair of the dungaree dolls and they fit a treat! They cheered me up massively and now mean that I can look glamorous when fixing my Morris Mino, something which I had previously decided was impossible. I changed into my dungarees the second my Dad had handed over the money and they still make me just as happy now.

Thank you so much for your amazing designs and commitment to such wonderful fashion. I'll be wearing them next weekend teamed with a Freddies jumper on a vintage land rover weekend, just to prove to everyone you can still look good whilst green landing!

Backhouse, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my Freddies Classics was when my (now husband) proposed to me on a wind swept cliff top in Cornwall :) <3 X

Estelle, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory wearing my Freddies would be, going to a local classic car show and getting an impromptu trip down to the coast in a 1951 Charabanc full of very chatty and friendly OAPs.

Mrs Bumble, 29 Nov 2012

I don't have one specific best memory of my Freddie's (though receiving the red blue jeans as a gift is pretty memorable). Since I got them, my Freddies have been my "go-to" clothing item for any event where I want that vintage look. After trying on 10 dresses from my closet, and deciding I need something flattering AND comfortable for that night out, it's always those red blue jeans!

KittyT, 29 Nov 2012

Sneaking into fairgrounds after dark and then hopping over a fence and running for it after being discovered. Any other trousers would've required considerable hiking but my Jeanies didn't budge!

Milagny, 29 Nov 2012

Lord bless you, Utility Jeans... They were my very first pair of Freddies of Pinehood Jeans and the first time I wore them in a cold December night I remember I thought: "Oh dear... I look gorgeous but my back is not feezing!! Yheeey!!!". My best allies in the most cold winyter nights =)

SarrySaal, 29 Nov 2012

Sneaking into the fairgrounds after dark with my sister, and having to hop a fence and run for it after being spotted! Any other pair of jeans would've required considerable hiking up, not my Jeanies!

Milagny, 29 Nov 2012

All memories that I have by wearing my freddies are good. Funny things are that when common people comment that im wearing funny jeans, because they know only todays fashion, for them my dungarees are looking funny :P

Mary Ann, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my first pair of Freddies was simply the first time I tried them on. I had spent many years and a lot of money buying jeans that just never seemed to fit me properly. I felt I would never find a pair for me and felt quite envious of the other girls who looked great in jeans. Just when I had resigned myself that jeans were just not for me, I saw the Freddies stall at Hemsby, i felt dubious about trying them, (thinking they would be another pair to add to the list), but with the help of Jo, I found my correct size and low and behold they actually fitted me and they looked great. It was such a special moment and I have never looked back and have added many pairs to my collection. I have never been let down by the fit and the look, of the jeans and dungarees, just perfect. So now whether its for work when I need comfort or for dancing the night away, I can do it in style and comfort, thank you Freddies x

Marylou, 29 Nov 2012

I'd love to own a pair of Freddies to bop around in!

RockaBebe, 29 Nov 2012

Always all the time - my 3 pairs of your jeans <3

65balja, 29 Nov 2012

I've owned my Utility shorts for less than a year, so my favorite memory was probably the day they arrived in the mail. THRILLING to put them on and have them fit like a dream! Still loving them!

Frances, 29 Nov 2012

I am embarassed to admit I have never worn a Freddies garment and until now was entirely ignorant! Since dressing as Elly May Clampett for Halloween and, since then, using this aesthetic in my every day dress more frequently, I have wanted a vintage reproduction pair of jeans. I am surprised I did not stumble upon Freddies of Pinewood in my search before. Everything here looks exquisite and I look forward to purchasing a piece someday.

Valeska Myshkin, 29 Nov 2012

My happiest memory of me in my Freddies is when I was wearing my 'Ton Up's on my first date with my boyfriend, we went bowling and they made me a vision of rockabilly badassery on the lanes (although sadly they don't have the powers to improve my bowling!). He always says when he saw me stood there at the station waiting to meet him for our date... he was almost too bowled over to talk to me!

Belissimo17, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory was wearing my utility jeans to Hank III gig this year, i hadn't been out for a long while, all night long i had comments on my jeans, even Hank liked them ;) that was the best night in my life ! these jeans are sooooo lush i dont wear any others .

loopylisa, 29 Nov 2012

I remember the first time I wore my 1940's Freddies Work Pant, this day remains etched in my memory forever. What a feeling of well being! I tried a lot of jeans before Freddies, but i didn't really like them. The story of my jeans is inseparable from the history of my pregnancy! When I bought it, i used to wore S size clothes. Pregnancy has grown and it didn't suit me anymore ! I thought about buying another, but we need to save money for the baby's arrival. I waited months to get into it ! Nevertheless, I was wearing jeans rolled up or I put a rubber band at the button to close it ! Jeans were so comfortable !
Now I wear it as often as I can, because I love the 40's working girl style. I also wear a lot of bandanas in my hair, and among my favorite tops, the Loretta sweater. I wear a lot of dresses, but I confess that this is my favorite outfit.
I guess one day Freddies of Pinewood would create jeans for children, so that my daughter could have her own, as in the family, we all have a Freddies of Pinewood ! Long live Freddies of Pinewood !

folievintage, 29 Nov 2012

I don't own any yet (soon! soon!) but my fondest Freddies jeans memory is the first time I saw a friend wearing them. She damn-confidently rocked a headscarf, platinum blonde curls, red lips, a high-waisted cardigan and the most awesome pair of jeans. Loved her, loved the look, loved the Freddies!

KirstyG, 29 Nov 2012

My best memory of Freddies was when I went to the Goodwood revival this year. I come from Australia and had stumbled upon Freddies whilst in a shop in Brighton. I bought a pair and have worn them ever since, including to Goodwood revival - they are fashionable, yet comfy. My grandma saw photos and said that I looked just like her in the 40s. I think that says how fab your clothes are!

Cara J, 29 Nov 2012

My best memory is, coming back to work on Monday, after the Drivin' Barn, wearing my lovely black pleated pants and a cute red and white V-neck top that I bought at the FoP stand (and which I carried home on my back in the lovely FoP cotton bag, on my Triumph) and having 3 of my colleagues making lovely comments on how I always manage to find those great vintage looking clothes and how they suit me like a glove!

Joolzyule Joelle, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory about wearing my freddies was after giving birth. I though they wouldn' fit me after labour, but as soon i arrived home i was surprised they fit me perfect, we went for a stroll with the baby in my home town and every friend we met told me i was beautiful in my jeans and they couldn't believe i had just came out the hospital.

Nerea E, 29 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my 'Norma Jeans' was the time I entered the Northern Soul Dancing Competiton at a Scooter Rally - for the first time I felt comfortable and glamorous at the same time. I came fourth but loved that the jeans enabled me to look good and manage all the spins and high kicks properly. I am in love and they (and many more) will become a staple part of my rally wardrobe!!

Clara-Belle , 29 Nov 2012

My favourite memory of wearing my freddies was wearing my pair with workboots and a hand knit 40s sweater and hat in a second hand furniture shop and being approached by an older lady who could have been a landgirl herself once upon a time, to have been given a thoroughly appraising glare and then informed with a curt nod and a voice that meant business "I very much like your style". I think I'd earned the compliment from someone who doesn't give them out like cards at christmas. Thoroughly flattering, I was proud of my jeans that day!

ElenaG, 29 Nov 2012

First time i met my husband was in one pair of Freddies!! He liked my buttom and couldnt keep hes eyes off it!!

Elly Plump, 29 Nov 2012

My Fondest memory of wearing my Utility Jean was whilst on a friend Birthday in London, I'd worked hard to get into my 24inch waist jeans and boy did it pay off! I got so many compliments and people asking where I'd got the Jeans, I felt like I was the birthday girl!

Anna KG, 29 Nov 2012

My boyfriend and I at the time were strolling through the grounds at a World War II reenacting event. The sun started to set and all the spectators were almost all gone as the sun started sinking lower. My hands were stuck deep into my 1940's Freddies Work Pant pocket playing with a tube of lipstick that I had in there; some kind of daze until I feel my boyfriend's arm slide under mine so we could be arm and arm. I took a quick glance at him and noticed his adam's apple bobbing up and down from swallowing nervously and I saw just the slightest hint of sweat glistening on his forehead. I thought maybe he was ill so I reassuringly put my hand on his and was startling at how cold and clammy it was! At this point I started worrying maybe he didn't eat such a good lunch or if he was working himself too hard reenacting at the battlefield. This thought kept me so preoccupied that I was confused when he stopped me in front of this beautiful Victorian house with a luscious front garden and he motion for me to sit on this ornate metal bench. I'm a slightly bewildered but I just sit alongside with him. We talked briefly about our days but it was quiet hard to focus when he was pulling at his collar so damn much!

I gasped when he started started sinking down on one knee as he reached into his pocket and pulled out this tiny black box. He opened it to reveal a beautiful antique 1920's ring. My hands were in my face trying to hold back the tears when he whispers "Will you marry me?". All the words sucked right out of my I just nod as he slips the ring onto my finger. We sat there crying and kissing and crying and hugging for quiet a while. Now anytime I slip on my Freddies they remind me of that special night and now they're my good luck charm!

I have yet to own a pair however would love to create some fond memories if I win! I love highwaisted, 40s style trousers and would love to wine a pair of Freddies

Lynnee82, 28 Nov 2012

My favourite memory was in fact trying Freddies on in the shop and getting so many nice compliments! Of course I bought them straight away and they soon became a wardrobe staple!

Lieke13, 28 Nov 2012

My fondest memory was frolicking in the sea in Scarborough in my Freddies dungarees. The weather was beautiful and I did my best Rosie the riveter impression with the waves lapping against me. I felt like a true pin-up and it was my birthday too so I felt extra special in them!

Mimi Couture, 28 Nov 2012

My best souvenir wearing my Freddies's dungarees is the day when I "met" my '54 Bel Air.... It was a crazy rainy day, I wasso far from home, I had no cash with me but I knew it would be mine one day... and it's now a pleasure to where some "Freddies" to drive it along our french roads!!!!

Lost in the 50\'s, 27 Nov 2012

My fondest memory has to be wearing my jeans strolling around Bestival on the Isle of white, accessorised with a Hawaiian tie fronted blouse, bowling shoes and a Japanese paper parasol and being admired by a girl swing band who were playing at the festival and stopped for a chat. I loved my jeans and still do, although sadly I had an accident why bleaching the toilet... This was not my fondest memory :(

Missy_Lils, 27 Nov 2012

Since buying my first pair of Freddies they've taken me to some pretty awesome places and created a lot of fabulous memories however, and this is going to sound so uncool, the best memory was made just a few days ago when my son said his first words.

Let me explain - it's just me an my kiddo at home and he's had to put up with me whinge about my post baby body (especially my lack of booty) for the past year and a bit (unable to tell me to quit complaining) but the other day (while I was just washing the dishes in my dungaree dolls) he toddles up behind me, gives my legs a big cuddle and proudly announces "ma...bum!"

And what would you know, it really had come back. :D

Mama_Munster, 27 Nov 2012

I never thought that high waisted trousers would fit my body.
Then I tried on my first pair of freddies at the Rave 2010.. I felt fantastic, they fit perfectly and they look brilliant. Made me buy more than one freddies that day :)

Chrischi, 27 Nov 2012

My fondest memory wearing myself is still a pipe dream in my imagination as sadly I'm yet to own a pair. I've recently been alerted to these beautiful jeans by some gorgeous friends who I admire their great looking dairy-airs in this fabulous denim!

Holsta, 27 Nov 2012

My fondest memory of wearing my freddies was at the recent Modern Sounds gig where I danced the night away in my freddies. You know, I had that feeling when everything's just right and I just couldn't stop dancing to that wonderful music. Freddies are my absolute favourite piece of casual clothing to dance in. I always get compliments about my dancing but I'm 100% sure that wearing freddies has a lot to do with that, as it just makes it all look "authentic", if you know what I mean :)

Billie, 27 Nov 2012

My fondest memory is wearing my Freddies work pants side stage watching Jim Jones Review at Southbound Festival here in Western Australia last January.

Gina Rollerbrigida, 27 Nov 2012

I always have a great time when rock n rollin in my Freddies so too many fond memories to mention!

StBiggles, 27 Nov 2012

I don't own one yet...But it's in my near future. I'm sure I will create many lovely memories wearing Freddies, and I can hardly wait! It will be especially darling with the 3 Freddies tops that I ordered (Christmas gift from hubby :-))

CocoBettie, 25 Nov 2012

We had a fantastic pick-nick this summer when I was wearing my red freddies of pinewood. We were sitting on one of those typical Stockholm rocks in the sunset with air balloons passing by in the sky.

evotstunk, 25 Nov 2012

My best memory was when I pulled my jeans on for the first time and felt as though I had stepped back into my favorite decade! I love wearing my Freddie's with little cropped tops and sweaters (puff sleeves is a must) and a pair of saddle shoes or penny loafers. Freddie's are swell :)

Betty Bessie, 24 Nov 2012

Oh my! I don't own a pair of Freddies (yet) so this question is leaving me a bit kerfuffled. My fondest future memory would be strolling by the river on a warm autumn evening while holding my hubby's hand. The leave have just fallen so we stomp through them like children. Oh yes, our children are with Grandma. :)

he said "STOP you lovely rascal!" but all i could do was a keep on runnin, through the streets, and past the coffee shops - i had to be quick as i was running out of time, and could not be wasted on love bitten scoundrels such as Mr Levi.
I ran past sweet little Mrs Whethers, the seamstress with the wooden leg, Charlie the butcher with the big belly and bushy moustache and Billy, the brat on the tricycle.
Time was closing in but i knew if i ran fast enough i could make it! afterall i was wearing my favourite pair of Freddies work pants.
I was out of breath but godammit i couldn't stop there, i had come so far!
i made a quick glance behind me to see if i was still being chased - Phew! i had somehow lost them amongst the chaos. But i could not be fooled, at any time they might surprise me with their clever wit.

I could see the neon light in the distance, Just a little farther to go!
I was getting closer and could almost taste victory on the tip of my tongue!
My heart was beating faster and faster with antisipation....and then out of nowhere i heard a booming BANG!!.....

....to be continued.

My Freddies jeans get worn quite regularly and I always enjoy wearing them. They make me feel confident and beautiful and womanly which is a great combination. One time I wore them to a ladies brunch with a striped tshirt, and another gal had also showed up in her Fredies jeans and a striped tshirt! It was a riot!

ShannonFatale, 23 Nov 2012

My favorite memory involving my Freddies' is going to a local open air festival here in the town where I live -- Everyone had a grand time: young folks, old folks, metal heads, hippies, didn't matter - everyone was your friend and everyone had a good time. one very sweet, old lady who was volunteering at the gate and gave out the little wristbands for people who wanted to drink during the event (I'm from the US, so you know the deal... 21+ only). When I walked up to her she said: "Oh my, I had pants just like that years ago!" (I was wearing my Utility Jeans) - and so we chatted for a good ten minutes about everything and nothing including 50s fashion, the best way to get non-frizzy sets with sponge rollers and our favorite desserts! I almost wanted to ask her for her contact information because I enjoyed chatting with her so much, but I didn't want to be creepy. Haha!

Wandering mindlessly around the supermarket , i felt i was being watched , paranoid i know but going up and down the isles the feeling got stronger and stronger , had i put something in my bag i shouldn't of ? did i stare a bit too long at the massive display of cheese or did i just look plain suspicious ? As i got to the check out i felt a presance at my shoulder and a whisper of " excuse me madame can i ask you a queation or 2 ? " , i looked at the store manager very sheepishly and croaked " yes of course , is there anything wrong ? " , " well you have the most amazing pair of jeans on , and i couldn't help wondering where you got them as i treid to look at the label but felt that examining your waist at close quaters would be a bit rude , they are beautiful , so elegant and the shape is incredible " well i blushed slightly and let out a squeeky giggle and told her all about my Freddies and how i love to wear them as much as i can because the make me feel fab , she thanked me and got a couple of check out girls to check out my bum !!!!! she wrote down the name and wished me a good day , thanks to Freddies my shopping trip was a bit more enjoyable.

Tell us the fondest memory you’ve had wearing your Freddies????

All are good :)

With freddies pants, everything seems perfect.

Visita, 22 Nov 2012

Being a staple part of my wardrobe, I was pretty gutted when naturally I could no longer fit into any of my freddies due to pregnancy and thus had to spend the next few months in leggings. The first night out I had with friends in about 7 months was 8 weeks after having my little one, and I was elated when I pulled on a pair of the old style jeanies and they zipped up! Not only zipped up but completely disguised my post baby paunch! I received so many compliments that night and was repeatedly told that I didn't look as though I had, had a baby. I had an amazing time, but it was all down to the confidence a good pair of jeans can give ;).

noplacelikehome, 22 Nov 2012

Wearing my utility jeans and feeling like Ive got a flat stomach after having my baby! Also being told that a few of my friends envy my style, its all down to my freddies!

joeyjojo1978, 22 Nov 2012

steph20se, 22 Nov 2012

I just love Freddies and have quite a few pairs in different styles & colours.
I love my black utility jeans, so comfy, my fondest memory of wearing them would be wearing them at Hemsby R&R weekender, strolling & bopping the night away with my friends, in comfort! :)

SailorCherry, 22 Nov 2012

Best memory is wearing my 1940's pants at a rockabilly event called Live & Jive. First time I wore them out and had a great evening (and night)! Sometimes a dress just won't let you have the crazy party you want ;)

*Tifa*, 22 Nov 2012

Wearing my Utility Jeans drawing out letters in a stonecutting workshop, dusty but happy.

fozdrew, 22 Nov 2012

My fondest memory was wearing my cord dungarees when going to the fair for the first time in about 7 years with friends. It was quite possibly the most fun night I've had this whole year, given we rode all the kiddie rides, as well as the 'scary' ones. :)
