My second pair of 50s button jeans and I love them. The black is just as flattering as the regular denim, and these are my new favourite pair of jeans. The high waist really makes these!
I love these but they run significantly large. I bought the size 28 and while they fit snug on arrival, they soon loosened into close to a size 30. They are definitely larger than other denim styles in the same size, which is a shame because they’re so nice…
I endorse everything Mereltje has said in her review of these jeans – they are great! Perfect summer wear: the fabric is light so you stay cool! I’d agree that the leg is narrower than the blue 1950s button jeans, but it’s only a small difference from the knee down and it works; if you roll them up it isn’t noticeable anyway. Definitely a bargain and I’m extremely chuffed!
Got this beauty today! At first I was a bit hesitant about the deep black colour. But I tried them on and WOW these are stunning! The fabric is somewhat lighter than the normal blue fifties button jeans so very comfy for summer. They are also a little bit larger ar te waist than the blue fifties button jeans.
Love them and I’m going to wear them as often as possible.
